Concord invited guest reference guide

You have been invited to join a document on Concord.  This short guide sets out how to join, edit and sign the document.

1. I’ve received an invitation to join a document on Concord – what do I do?

a) You will receive an invitation email from the Company with a link to the document

  • You can look to the top of the right side of the document, you’ll see the number of required fields and how many of them have been completed (You’ll need to complete 100% of the mandatory fields before the document can be signed)
  • Click into the yellow mandatory fields assigned to you and fill in the required information
  • Click "SAVE" to save your work (you can save your work as you go or fill in all required information and click save once all fields are complete).  The Company will be notified when you have made edits to the document.

How do I know all fields have been updated?

  • You can look to the top of the right side of the document, you’ll see the number of required fields and how many of them have been completed (You’ll need to complete 100% of the mandatory fields before the document can be signed)

b) How do I redline the document?

  • Click Edit
  • Turn Track Changes on
  • Make your changes
  • Click Save

c) How do I comment the document?

  • Highlight the text you would like to comment on, the air bubble icon will appear
  • Click Add a comment
  • Click Comment

2. How to sign the document or, if you are not the signatory, how to invite the signatory

  • Scroll down, click the dropdown arrow next to Sign here
  • Enter the email address of who should sign
  • Press Enter on your keyboard
  • Scroll to the top, and click the ‘pause icon’ and click Send invitation

3. Why can’t I sign the document?

a) The document will need to be approved by the Company before it can be signed.  Once approved, the document will unlock for signature.

4. Are Concord signatures legally valid?

a) Yes, they are!

 

5. How do I get a copy of the completed document?

a) You will receive an email “ABC Agreement has been signed by all parties”

  • Click View document in the email you received
  • The link will take you directly to the document
  • At the top left, click the ‘down arrow’ icon and select Download as PDF
