Deadline report emails notify you about upcoming lifecycle dates without having to manually check the Deadlines report or each document's Summary panel. The emails are sent every Sunday.
The notifications include upcoming contract renewals, termination notices, and any other deadlines set in the documents' lifecycle section of the Summary panel. Renewal dates set to auto-renew are excluded from the email notifications.
Enabling deadline report email notifications
- Navigate to your Settings
- From the left-hand sidebar, in the Personal section, select Preferences
- Check the checkbox for the Receive weekly deadline reminders by email option.
- Once checked, you can adjust the number of days of advance notice you receive before a deadline occurs. By default, the system includes documents with deadlines that will occur in the next 180 days.
- To unsubscribe from these emails, uncheck the Receive weekly deadline reminders by email option.
What documents are included in the emails
- Only documents that have been shared with you or that you created will be included in the email.
Who receives deadline report emails
- Users in all Roles (includes the Viewer role) will receive weekly deadline report emails, if the option is enabled for them.
- For Admins to receive deadline information about documents to which they have access, they need to first join the document using Administrator Access & Oversight.
- External guests will never receive this email.
