Administrator Access

Activating the Administrator Access feature on Concord allows the following users the ability to view (and join) all no-draft documents in your company account:

  • Users assigned the Creator-Administrator system roleblobid2.png
  • Users with 'Give administrator access' activated in their custom role blobid1.png

To activate Administrator Access:

  1. Click the Settings cog in the lower-left corner of the page
  2. Select Settings
  3. Select Preferences under Company in the left-hand panel.
  4. Check the box beside "Administrator Access"

Note:

Documents in the "Draft" stage are personal documents. Until shared with at least one internal/external party, drafts can only be accessed by their creator. 

 

Administrator Oversight

Once Administrator Access is activated, Creator-Administrators and users with 'administrator access' activated in their custom role can view AND join all non-draft documents in the company account.

Join a document with Administrator Oversight:

From the inbox view, you will notice an "eye" icon indicating you are able to view this document, but you do not have direct access until you opt-in to "join" the document.

You can opt-in to "join" a document by clicking the name of the document from the inbox and clicking "Join document" at the top right-hand corner. The benefit of joining a document is gaining direct access.

Note: If you have direct access to a document you will receive every notification associated with that document. The purpose of this feature is to is to reduce the number of notifications as an administrator.

To "join" multiple documents from your inbox:

Select the documents from your inbox > Actions > Join
